Well, the website designer finally got some work done! Check some of these places out.
One thing - use the links to set up what you want to do. Some locations require reservations, have odd hours or are not active some times of the year. I don't want someone to get here and find the event they wanted to see or do was booked or discontinued.

Pine Mountain Tourism Association
Lots of info here. If you are planning in advance, have them send you a copy of "Pine Mountain Experience". It lists everything there is to do, see, or eat in the area. The following are some of the places I've had good reviews about.

Wild Animal Safari
One of the best places in the area! I've never had a bad review (and no, they don't pay me) from any of my guests who have visited there. It is a drive through zoo, where the animals can get up close and personal. Believe me, there is nothing like the picture of an 8yo getting licked up side the head by a camel! The facial contortions are amazing.
Just 1 thing: You can drive through with your own car, but unless you have a beater with primer on it, rent their van or take the tram. The guy with the Mercedes that the buffalo was rubbing its horns on was not happy. I have also seen cars come back with paw prints on the sides and top, so no convertible.

Callaway Gardens
Big place! Swimming lake, butterfly house, excellent walking and biking trails, many events through the year from Birds of Prey exhibition, triathalons, hot air balloons, and waterskiing championships. Also - January and February admission is FREE!

Roosevelt Stables
Horseback riding on Pine Mountain. I haven't used them (too big to punish a poor horse) but I have had very good reports from those who have. Check the link for cost and to make arrangements.

Butts Mill Farm
Horseback riding, miniature golf, go-carts, paint ball, and other stuff. About 2 miles from the motel.
